Finding the balance between generating ROI vs being authentic is difficult. Where I land on this is "ENGAGEMENT OVER NUMBERS”, meaning 1 million views seems cool, but if none of those million people engage with the content or feel connected to it, nothing of value comes from the partnership. In turn, if the numbers are small but 20% of the audience follow through with the call to action, that’s REAL ROI. I put quality and entertainment before product plugs, resulting in an audience that stays engaged and not trained to skip posts.
